The Exchange in Sri LankaSometimes you get yourself into something without knowing what to expect. The only thing we know about what we did in Sri Lanka is that 2012 was their first year doing the festival and we wanted to help them get it off the ground. Truth be told, we lucked out. Their whole team of volunteers with the leadership of Haadia Galely were more than kind.

I hate to say it, but I believe that there are a lot of times when people present an idea but don’t believe it. The whole concept of this festival was “Senses and Soul” and in this case, it was all about it. You guys have a great foundation for an amazing festival for decades to come, and you should be proud of yourselves. We can’t wait to come back!

You guys also gave us an opportunity to perform along-side The House Jacks, a long standing group with years of great music and success. So, thank you as well to The House Jacks with whom we not only got to share a stage, but hang out and relax. It was a lot of fun!

So to close it all off, a huge thank you to Haadia Galely, all of the volunteers for the festival, and The House Jacks for making our time in Sri Lanka incredible, unforgettable, and something that we hope to do again VERY soon!
